Shenzhen Universiade Mall is conceived as a new luxury retail destination adjacent to the Universiade Stadium, bringing together architecture, landscape, and contemporary retail within a distinctive organic form.
The architectural concept draws inspiration from the growing white lily, translating its delicate petals and natural growth into a sculptural building composed of soft, overlapping volumes. The resulting form introduces a sense of lightness, elegance, and softness to the urban landscape, offering a graceful counterpoint to the monumental presence of the neighboring stadium.
A Softer Expression of Modern Retail Center
The massing is organized through a series of interlocking and stepping volumes, creating generous rooftop terraces throughout the building.
