A New Rhythm on the Waterfront Skyline
Qiantang River Office Park is conceived as a contemporary workplace destination on the riverbank of Hangzhou’s Qiantang River, bringing together three office towers within a unified architectural landscape.
The towers are defined by a bold shifted-massing strategy, with each volume appearing to be sliced and displaced through the middle of the building. This creates a series of dramatic setbacks, terraces, and outdoor spaces that open toward the river and Hangzhou skyline.
Rather than treating the façade as a static surface, the shifting geometry transforms the towers into a three-dimensional landscape. Each step becomes an opportunity for sky gardens, outdoor workspaces, informal gathering areas, and panoramic terraces, bringing the experience of the river directly into the workplace.
Defined by a Cityscape in Motion
The displaced volumes also give the three towers a strong and recognizable identity from the water. Their layered silhouettes create a dynamic composition along the Qiantang River, changing in appearance as they are viewed from different angles and distances.
Together, the three towers form a distinctive waterfront ensemble—a new architectural rhythm where the movement of the built form echoes the energy and dynamism of the Qiantang River.
