The Offshore Financial Island is envisioned as a futuristic new urban district in the waters outside Southern China shore, establishing a bold new platform for international finance, trade, research, and innovation.
Organized across four major islands, the masterplan creates a diverse and interconnected financial ecosystem dedicated to offshore currency trading, international import and export, financial corporations, and research institutions. Rather than extending the existing city, the project proposes an entirely new urban frontier—one shaped by the openness and possibilities of the ocean.
With a total land area of approximately 15.8 million square meters and a total built area of approximately 4.14 million square meters, the development operates at the scale of a new city. Distinct districts, institutions, commercial centers, and public spaces are woven together through a comprehensive network of transportation, landscape, and waterfront connections.

The four islands form a dynamic constellation within the sea, balancing high-density financial development with expansive waterfront landscapes and public spaces.
